Unicorns vs. Dragons! The Ultimate Showdown…

Who is better? A Unicorn or Dragon? Lets put aside the facts that these are (somewhat) fictitious creatures, and cannot be proven real in the sense that we know them.

Lets Discuss what these creatures features are!

Dragon: Generally seen as bigger reptiles, possibly breathes fire. It can have scales, or be very smooth-skinned. Sometimes depicted with wings, and can fly. Usually has a negative connotation, and is the bad guy in most stories. Very popular in gaming lore as an unbeatable enemy.

Unicorn: A horse with a mystical horn. The horn can possibly have magical powers, and produce a variety of colors. May have some combat abilities, but they are typically non-violent creatures. Most fun animal to ride. Can be seen striding through fields and forests in blurry pictures.

Now, who is the best? My personal opinion is the Dragon. When I say dragon, I think “Awesome”. It certainly is awe-inspiring. I’m not saying a unicorn is bad, because they both have good qualities. Saying a Dragon is better than an Unicorn (it is really awkward to say “an unicorn”) is like saying a PC is better than a Mac. They both are good laptops that serve different purposes. A Dragon serves a different purpose than unicorns. Dragons are meant to burn villages down and take thy fair maiden away to his dungeon. Unicorns are majestic horses that are meant to be taken to little girl’s birthday parties and have a toilet paper tube taped to their foreheads.

To conclude, the comparison between Dragons and Unicorns is inconclusive. And irrelevant. The only winner is the Aqua-Unidragon.

See ‘ya later,

Noah

P.S., Did you know both Unicorns and Dragons appear in the Bible? There are multiple accounts of dragons in Revelations, and in the story of Job (which is more of a Chimera).  As for Unicorns? It is debated, and most are unsure, but in the King James Version of the Bible, there are several references to unicorns. The book of Numbers has this: Numbers 23:22 “God brought them out of Egypt; he hath as it were the strength of an unicorn.” This is a heavily debated part of scripture, as other versions of the King James Version have the Ox, or Rhino instead of Unicorn. Kinda funny how a unicorn was as strong as a rhino.
